Born in Ghana, where he attended the Morning star School (Accra) from Kindergarten to Junior High. At age 5, Edward discovered his true love for Art and Design. He pursued his Artistic talent, majoring in Visual Arts at Pope John’s Secondary School at Efiduase-Koforidua, in Ghana. For three years he studied and excelled in drawing, painting, textile and graphic design.

The birth of Owusu Arts in 2001 enabled him to portray a “View of Ghana’s Culture” through his collections of carefully selected contemporary artifacts.

He is currently a Georgia resident, living in Atlanta
